FAQs – Everything You Need to Know
Q: What types of past-due balances can you collect on?
A: We can collect on skips, evictions, move-out balances, and more. However, we do NOT handle the actual evictions, only the amounts associated with them.
Q: Do I need to include the total balance owed when sending accounts?
A: Yes, all accounts sent to us must include the total final balance owed. We cannot adjust or increase the balance after it has been sent to collections
Q: How does being a law office help with collections?
A: Because we are a law office, our material catches people’s attention, making them more likely to take action.
Q: How is the contingency split structured?
A: We operate on a 65/35 split. This means you earn 65% of what is collected after someone is sent to collections, no matter when or where they pay. There are no additional fees or sliding scales.
Q: What methods do you use to collect debt?
A: We use a combination of skip tracing, letters, phone calls, emails, and credit reporting to maximize the chances of collecting the debt.
Q: Do you report to credit bureaus?
A: Yes, we report on credit at 30-60 days after an account has been with us. We report to the three major credit bureaus.
Q: When will I receive reports and payments?
A: We send a monthly report by the 14th of each month showing who paid and the 65/35 split. The money is direct deposited into your account the same day it’s available.
Q: Do you garnish wages or take accounts to court?
A: No, we do NOT garnish wages. We only take accounts to court upon your request and at the end of our process.
